Reception Desk - About Us

D of R LogoFor the first two-and-a-half years of our company's existence, we worked exclusively on our first production, Drink to Bones that Turn to Dust: A Toast to Oingo Boingo. You can read more about the project and hear samples on other pages in this site.

We are now working on producing recordings with our first couple of artists, whose music touches us in a way that most commercial music can't. Watch for albums from these artists very soon.

Dep't of Records was founded in 2004. In 2006, we merged with Mars Sound (www.marssound.com), a mobile recording studio with a common co-founder.

Mars Sound
Reception Desk - About Us

Over the years, we've had a lot of our friends' bands ask us to do for them the same things we do for ourselves. Recording, production, graphics, web development, etc. We soon realized that we were able to offer these services to everyone.

And so we introduced Mars Sound, a complete media production and design firm.

Where else can you find a recording studio (& mobile, too), web developers, graphic artists, and full media production, all in one place?

How else can you be sure that you are presenting a consistent and professional image across all platforms?

Check out Mars Sound Now!
